“Ned Dolan's Garret" by Julia A Mathews. Published by T. Woolmer, London: no date (1880s). Printed by Hayman Brothers and Lilly, London. With fine color-lithographed frontispiece by Barclay A. Fry. Red and gray decorative end papers.
A scarce little Victorian children's book in its original publisher's binding. The binding consists of red cloth-covered boards with black-stamped pictorial decorations along the front and red covers. The front cover also contains the title over a gold gilt block.
