MM Kamenenstein World of Motion Bumble Bee Tea Kettle
This vintage kettle was created so that when water boiled inside, bees would circle around the cage.
Condition:
External enamel is in fair condition with only minor scuffs/scratches (see photos). Bottom of the kettle appears orange in photos just from wood reflection.
Front bee is missing wings. Body was created using two plastic halves and the they are loose, but the actual base of the bee is intact in spout. Body can be glued back together.
All 5 bees inside cage are present and have their wings, but have become detached from spinning mechanism. Cage has some give, so may be removable with correct tools. There is probably a way with glue/rubber/etc. that bees could be reattached, at least for aesthetic purposes.
Not been tested to see if it still spins to prevent risking damage to loose bees. Kettle is sealed shut as intended.
Kettle spout is missing black stopper. Mouth has some wear/rust.
There is some dirt/dust.
