Cigar / Tobacco store figurehead of a Native American Chief by ALFCO (Artistic Latex Foam Company of Rochelle, New York). Estimating from 1950s-60s.
Up until the 70s, ALFCO made many figures that seemed to be used for ships, carousels, store advertising displays and more.
Approx 24 inches tall.
Great condition for age. Some paint loss and a tiny bracket inserted at back (presumably to keep it from falling off counter/display).
A gentle cleaning would likely invigorate coloring.
