First edition, first printing oversized hardcover copy of The Negr0 Heritage Library : Profiles of Negr0 Womanhood (Volume One: 1619-1900) by Sylvia G. L. Dannett (Educational Heritage Inc, 1964). With illustrations by Horace Varela. Rare first edition of this book documenting the lives of dozens of black women who made an impact on society between the years 1619 and 1900. Book is in great shape save for some mild wear around the edges, small stain to top edge of text block with slightly bleeds into the top of some pages. Binding remains strong though the text block sags somewhat and the spine has a subtle lean. Other than aforementioned stain, all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
