It was made in Japan, in the early 1950s by Hoya Corporation - company best known for producing high precision and clarity crystal, besides tableware - used in many expensive photo / camera lenses,
This set was made for trade, and displayed at a trade show, where my grandparents purchased it.
It was never used, always sat in a box and used as a conversation piece.
This set has 6 pieces and is very versatile. Use it together or separate.
Serve it on a tray, or standalone.
