Antique and rare book capturing the life and peoples of Northern Spain at the turn of the century, as showcased by the numerous full color plates with paintings by Wigram. A beautiful book with decorative leather binding and fold-out map at last page. Scuffing and general wear to covers, especially around the edges and to top right corner of front cover. Corners bumped and worn. Binding is weakening and with split bindings near beginning and end of book. Previous owner’s inscription on half title page, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
