A circa Pre-1950s Bernhard Meldahl signed sterling silver and white enamel leaf brooch. This larger brooch is 2 inches in length. In good vintage condition one small area of enamel loss but it is stable.
Bernhard Meldahl was born in 1873 in Grue, Solor Norway. He co-founded his first firm with Olav Hjortdahl in 1914. In 1943 Hans Myhre became his partner and was so until Meldahl died in 1950. At that time Han Myhre took over the company.
