This piece represents the transformation of my life. The bottom half shows the old me, where I was all alone and everything was dark and dead. The top shows the new me, walking by faith over the water with friends. The fire over their heads represents the Holy spirit. The title is in Brazilian português which translates to, “new creation”. I chose it to be that way to reference my culture and native tongue. 16 x 20 in
