Original vintage 1942 MGM movie poster (14”x36”) for “Keeper of the Flame” directed by George Cukor & starring the 2nd successful screen pairing of Spencer Tracy & Katharine Hepburn, after the hit “Woman of the Year”. The two stars had great chemistry both on-screen & off & ultimately the duo made a total of 9 films together.
Original rare vintage 1942 movie poster insert size (14a”x22”) for “Keeper of the Flame” is in very fine to near mint condition after paperbacking & restoration. The insert poster has minor wear on the folds that are not really noticeable (see photos). There were a couple scuffs & smudges before restoration, too. Overall, the poster displays beautifully & contains one of the absolute best film poster images of the legendary pairing of Tracy & Hepburn when they were in their prime. It really looks fantastic!!
