* This study was done from the genuine skull in the anatomy department. While they would not let me take it to the art room, they would let me do a study in their lab! The light truly does emanate differently through bone. I have done skull studies in the past from artificial plastic, and it doesn't reflect light in the same way. The colors that are reflected are truly unique.
