Columbia Pictures’ “Funny Girl” starring Barbra Streisand & Omar Sharif is a 1968 musical directed by William Wyler is loosely based on the life and career of comedienne Fanny Brice and her stormy relationship with entrepreneur and gambler Nicky Arnstein. It is produced by Brice's son-in-law, Ray Stark. A major critical and commercial success, Funny Girl became the highest-grossing film of 1968 & received 8 Oscar nominations including Best Picture & Best Supporting Actress (Kay Medford). “Funny Girl” is considered one of the greatest movie musicals ever made.
This set of 8 vintage film lobby cards (11”x14”) from 196 are in very fine condition to near mint condition with very minor wear & tear, no tape marks & no restoration necessary. The cards display images of key scenes of the musical featuring Barbra Streisand in her signature Oscar-winning role very well & are in fantastic condition.
