I'm afraid I don't know the history of these, but they are definitely a matched pair. That and the absence of a dial makes me wonder if they're an antique wall intercom pair.

Almost all appliances of this era had two bells on top, but this pair has one on each! Both bells ring well when struck with the ringer. Both boxes will need a little repair - corners need regluing. Not sure if the mouthpiece to one is original. The cones almost thread into the wood threads on front. Both receivers have the hook to hang on the side.

Front label says "MAN ELEC. SUPPLY CO. 1561 C NEW YORK - CHICAGO."

It looks like one that is on ebay now with a deveau receiver, but I be their receiver is a replacement. Beautiful oak.

Nothing has been tested electrically. There was another mouthpiece innard, some cloth cabling, and a little calculation sheet also in the box. You get it all, as shown. How cool would it be to bring these back to life?
