Persian Moss flow blue antique celery dish by Utzschneider & Co. Created in Sarreguemines, Germany circa 1860-1919. This celery dish is decorated with the flow blue cobalt blue color, gold gilt accents and gilt trim. The celery dish measures approx. 12.75" x 5.5" x 1.5". The glaze is still very glossy, there two very small areas on the edge that could be flea bites or possibly pontil marks. There is some age-related wear to the gold on the rim and crazing that does not distract from it's elegance. A very nice piece.
