"Pierre Clayette (Paris, 24 March 1930 - Colombes, December 18, 2005) was a French painter, lithographer, illustrator and designer. After high school, he attended the Académie Julian , where he was taught by Jules Cavaillès. Upon graduation from the academy, he was recruited by Cassandre to his workshop.
