A superb dessert plate manufactured by the Staffordshire pottery of Felix and Richard Pratt and featuring the sought after and highly collectable marbled malachite border. Introduced for the Great Exhibition of 1851 in England this plate features a Green color Transfer print titled the 'The Truant', and the other is titled "The Bully" after an original painting by T. Webster called 'Going to School'. Heightened with gilt and having a gilt rim.
