Marble paper boards have three quarter leather spine and corner tips with gold gilt lettering to spine. Leather was originally green but in places has faded to shades of brown (all the spines and some of the corner tips). Wear to the top and bottom of the back strip as well to all edges of the paper boards. The corners are all worn through the leather corner tip. Slight cosmetic blemishes to some boards. Spines are straight with no cracking at the endpapers. The text blocks are all solid with all pages firmly attached, gold gilt along the top edge, front edges are rough as dual fold pages needed to be cut but by the owner – and some have not been, so are still attached. Age tanning throughout, darkening at the endpapers. All interior pages are clean with no tears, cracks, or previous owner marks except the title page of 1.1 has a small tear. Dimensions: each book measures: H – 8” W – 5-1/4” D – from 1” to 1-1/2”
