This gently used 1st Edition hardback biography is in very good condition, having been withdrawn from the collection of the Nebraska State Historical Society. R. C. Barrow (1832-1890) was a minister in the Disciples of Christ who served most of his life in Nebraska, where he organized many of the state's Disciples congregations. This straightforward biography of his work was written by his son following his death in 1890. A valuable source document for Nebraska history as well as American religious history and Disciples history. The binding is tight and pages clean and unmarked. The boards are in good condition but some fraying of the cloth binding at the corners. Smoke free home.
Numerous online vendors sell paperback facsimile reproductions of this book but it is very hard to find a copy of the cloth 1st Edition!
