RARE Blue Dumortierite Quartz Crystal Cluster Gem Rutile Included Large Gemstone

Extremely rare (in this size, high quality, clarity and color saturation!) top grade, large specimen of dumortierite rutilated quartz from Serra da Vereda, Boquira in Bahia, Brazil. Beautiful clarity and incredible detail in this lustrous piece. Featuring an extra gemmy cluster of dozens of multi sized, glassy clear and terminated quartz crystals with inclusions of bright and vivid blue dumortierite. Dumortierite is the rarest varieties of included minerals in quartz gemstones. The blue rutile are well defined as elongated crystals in starburst / floral spray patterns throughout the quartz and matrix. The sculptural crystals are clustered on a sugary, druzy, pale pink mineral matrix, layered with more sparkling quartz and royal blue dumortierite. A perfect self standing, large cabinet sized fine mineral display piece measuring approx 4 x 4 x 3 inches, 1.5 inches thick and weighing nearly half a pound at 6.1 ounces.
