Personal collection release! Extremely rare, large sized Japan law twin quartz Crystal cluster from Durango, Mexico. This stunning specimen is packed full of glassy terminated quartz crystals and and least 4 Japan law twins, including the large focal twin! Japan Law Twin, also known as Weiss Law and La Gardette Twin is rare Quartz variety defined as having two crystals that meet at an angle of 84°33'; as well as having parallel prismatic faces resulting in a “V” formation. This high quality statement piece is a sculptural work of art, full of sparkling quartz on matrix and internal casts. The largest twinned V-shaped crystal has a perfect termination on one end and modified on the other. It’s perched perfectly on top of the aesthetic display. An excellent top shelf, self standing mineral measuring approx 5 x 4.5 x 4 inches and weighing nearly 3/4 a pound at 10.2 ounces. Includes the collection ID / locale info card.
