If you want to see more of the night sky, or more easily follow a bird in flight and fleeing deer, here is a classic Japanese 11 Degree Wide 7x50 that was just serviced. Focusing is smooth. Views clear and bright after large BK-7 prisms were cleaned and had their sides blacked. They show typical grey chordal cuts around the periphery.
We added a wide carry strap. No case. The old rubber eye cups have perished from dry rot, yet their screw off plastic bases still act to help block side light.
No longer made anywhere on the planet, such wide angle binos in such good shape are getting harder to find. And one could easily pay our asking price JUST FOR A CLEANING! We have sold hundreds over six years of collecting. Have 60+ in the house for our own use.
