Click photos to see complete view. Fabulous rare set of 3 stacking trugs. True trugs are shallow gathering (flowers) baskets made from strips of wood. Handle is wood also. Wood boxes with metal handles are not authentic trugs. While there may be woven shallow gathering baskets, it is not a trug without strips of wood completing construction. Used for lying flower stems down after cutting fresh flowers. Each has some worn pale green paint underneath. Each has a handle side with the handle that has snapped from toting (see pics). However, it does NOT affect toting. These baskets are hard construction. It's not a soft basket. Wonderful French trugs. Measures approximately:
1) 18½" x 9⅞" x 7⅝" tall
2) 22¼" x 11⅝" x 9" tall
3) 25¼" x 13" x 12" tall
For age, they are in good condition. I do wipe with orange oil to keep pretty every couple of months. Not willing to split up. ZOOM photos to judge condition for yourself. #6198200
