Unique and collectible find! Fully natural, star hollandite (both black and gold!) included dendritic phantom amethyst from Brazil. The glassy, double terminated gemstone spray of quartz var. amethyst crystals features royal purple and lavender phantoms, chevron color zoning, and rare dendrite inclusions of hollandite. Hollandite (also known as black flower, spider, urchin, ghost and star quartz) is an uncommon mineral that resemble tiny spiders, branches or stars. The elongated, dragon tooth shaped, raw amethyst crystal is lustrous and translucent. The top is a multiple terminated cluster of Amethyst points that taper to a single termination at the bottom end. A perfect Brazilian display gem that would also be gorgeous in jewelry making as a pendant or in wire wrapping. Measures approx 5 by 3 by 2.5cm.
