(#RB19) RARE!! HARD TO FIND Uncle Sam's $5.00 Nickel Register Bank
There are two types of Uncle Sam's nickel and dime banks. One locks until $5 is reached before opening and one locks until $10 is reached before opening. You can tell which one is which by the words "amount deposited" on the front of the register above the counter display. The $5 banks have the words
"amount
deposited"
one word on top of the other. The $10 banks have the words "amount deposited" displayed in one line, side by side. This one for sale is the $5 nickel bank. There is Some light wear/scratches due to age and use.
First nickel deposited locks the bank until $5 is reached. The bottom door will then unlock, allowing you to retrieve your change. Tested and Counter worked accurately, and locked and unlocked as it should. This bank is in Great Overall Condition and a nice addition to any Collection!
