This set of 4 is fantastic. It is 4 scenes from 4 different bible verses (Jeremiah 31:13, Jeremiah 8:21, Genesis 1:2, fourth is unknown).
Very good condition they were done on thicker paper with pen and ink. Two have the verses written below. Matted, not framed. There are stickers on the backs of 2 of them showing them entered into what I can only assume was a religious art gallery.
Date unknown for all. All are signed by the artist, Lisa Hoffman. A quick Google search sleuthing tells me she is a Reverand in New Jersey who has a bachelors in art and education prior to God's calling. The emotion depicted in these works is definitely felt. The simplicity of the black on white resonates with each verse.
