The unit powers on and plays but I do not have compatible speakers to properly test it..the motor in the arm still works and moves side to side with the buttons as does the up and down of the tone arm..I heard sound come through the record that tried..the unit has some minor cosmetic wear scuffing scratches and dust..selling As Is..see pics for more detail
