This is a scarce and beautiful Royal Doulton Porcelain Picture Plate "Circus of the Moon" England.
This limited edition collector's plate from Royal Doulton shows a tiger and its two cubs surrounded by circus motifs. It is dated 1995. The colors range from deep forest green to rust red and lapis blue -- just amazing! The costumes tigers are decorated, and the big tiger is holding a sunflower in its mouth. Colorful lanterns are strung above them against a night sky.
The plate measures 8.25 inches wide.
Marked on the back with the Royal Doulton logo. Produced from original artwork by Dawn Michelle Seddon and is part of a series.
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
