In my opinion, Shu Uemura makes the best Kolinsky sable hair. Among all the Japanese brand thar makes Kolinsky sable hair, Shu Uemura kolinsky sable hair delivers the most beautiful gradient effect. This type of hair also holds up well compared to squirrel and saikoho hair, and is just as soft to the eye.
Currently Kolinsky or sable hair is discontinued across many Japanese fude brands. Companies do not make big kolinsky or sable hair brushes anymore. This is a very rare find!
