The book is tight with solid hinges. Bound in leather, with gilded page edges, a hubbed spine, satin page marker and peach-colored moire end-papers. Faint wear to gilt on top and side fore-edges, and moderate gilt wear to bottom edges. Textblook is clean with no writing or markings. Black and white photos. 422 pages. 6¼ x 9½ " tall.

John Glenn was the first American to orbit the earth in 1962 and returned to space in 1998. He served in the United States Senate from 1974-1999. His wife, Annie Glenn, was a lifelong advocate for people with disabilities and communication disorders.
