This rare and original U.S. promo of Simon and Garfunkel's "Sounds of Silence" album is a must-have for any serious music memorabilia collector. The cover features the iconic duo in a classic pose with just the words SIMON & GARFUNKEL in white text and SOUNDS OF SILENCE in blue with nothing else below it.
The back has the TIGER BEAT mag before it was retouched/blackened out. I added the arrows to the photo but they're NOT on the actual back sleeve.
The label is the original white Columbia label. For some reason, the words "Radio Station Copy - Not For Resale" are blacked out.
A similar pressing is currently selling for OVER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS from overseas. Get it here for half that price!
