Beautiful 1965 Skooter #1040 straight-leg doll, Barbie’s freckled friend and Skipper’s best companion. She stands 9.25”, marked ©1963 Mattel, Japan on foot. Features brunette pigtails with bangs (white bows replace originals), crisp brown eyes, freckles, and excellent factory paint. Limbs are tight, hair glossy, and overall condition is near perfect.
She wears Quick Curl Skipper dress #4223 (1973–77): turquoise bodice, gingham skirt and sleeves, black bow, matching ribbon, and white flats. Outfit is complete, vibrant, and in excellent condition.
