This is a perfectly working debut portable Discman CD player from Sony Japan. All functions work great .. eg; track selection, FF search, play/pause , volume control and 3.5mm headphone jack are clean with no crackling during volume adjustment. I found this over 35 years ago and it has never left the house or in harsh conditions. Lol… I never even knew it had a volume control and headphone jack till I took these photos. I think it is more scarce with the European plug-in and Japanese writing on the unit ….. most will have a US wall plug.
