The Friendly Village Johnson Bros England Assorted. Made in England, Plates, bowls, Ironstone. Knowing the gal that spend a lot of time collecting this I am trying to sell it as a collection- not parting it out. 20 pieces in all
2- Cups and Saucers the brim is 3 ½” across and the saucer is 5 5/8” across
1- 6 1/8” square bowl The Covered Bridge x 1 ¾” tall
5- 6 1/4 salad plates Sugar maples
4- 7 1/4” square salad plate The Covered Bridge
5- 9 7/8” Dinner plates The School House
Platter 11” x 13 5/8” Harvest Time- Original Label, never used
The Friendly Village release starting in the 1950s featuring the Made in England. Wonderful down home feeling of a New England neighborhood from the 1880s (?) This whole series feels like a back to basics in a beautifully natural way.
