The New Thompson Chain Reference KJV Bible 3rd Ed (1939) Leather Fair

In 1890 Methodist minister Frank Charles Thompson began work on a study Bible for pastors and Christian teachers to teach the Bible more effectively. It prints the text in double center columns with marginal notations running along the sides, suggesting other relevant texts throughout scripture to help readers quickly locate all texts on related topics. This Chain reference system is similar to Scofield's Reference Bible although the Thompson Study Bible did not incorporate Dispensational Theology, and his chain references are not always the same as the Scofield. It has a detailed Concordance and Indexed Bible Atlas, as well as many charts and illustrations on the Jerusalem Temple, Pauline Theology, and memory verses.
This is a Moroccan Leather 3rd Edition (1939). The binding is tight and pages mostly unmarked. However the leather edges are starting to deteriorate. The pages are otherwise clean and bright. Despite the rough condition of the cover, this old Bible is a great resource!
