This unique tourmaline crystals was found locally in Gastonia nc. I found a 30 lb rock filled with hundreds of tourmaline crystals in a mica schist I broke down the rock, so it was light enough to carry. Then, when I got home, I started breaking some of the touring crystals out and leaving some of them in the host as specimens before realizing what I had I noticed everywhere there was a tourmaline crystal. There was a gold mineral forming up against the crystal so I pulled out my metal detector and it went crazy so I took it to my local rock shop and did an acid test. It came back as 22 karat gold trace mounts of silver trace mounts of platinum each crystal is $30 each. You will receive one random crystal or if you’re interested ask me about the specimens. I have a few specimens with the tourmaline steel in the matrix with 22 karat gold forming right up against the crystal. Those cost more between $50-$100 each due to it’s rare occurrence of finding gold forming on another natural mine
