This is a Penny in great condition with the letter ‘D’ under the date that says 2009 on the “heads” side. If you take a look at the back of this coin it is a very rare coin and photo of Lincoln during his formative years sitting on a log and reading.
Very few of these coins were made to commemorate the former presidents 200th Birthday Year Anniversary and this is 1 of 3 other different “tails” pictures that show pivotal moments throughout his life.
Very rare and nearly impossible to come across from the Denver Mint. A GREAT coin for anyone who loves to collect coins or is a fan of American History/Abraham Lincoln!
