I bought this back in the 80’s and not in Texas. I’ve been lugging it around for a very long time and have never seen another like it. But, I’ve finally found some information on it, yay!
Alamo Pottery was made in San Antonio, Texas, between 1945 and 1951. Just seven years! That is a brief moment of time for any pottery company.
