This vintage 1987 locomotive is called, "1831 John Bull Locomotive", from the Smithsonian Institution. It is made of die-cast metal, heavy, very detailed and about 6" long. This is an exact replica of the original known for distinctive & unconventional design, particularly the "Animal Catcher" piece on the front. The original one was an English-built loco which began service in the US in 1832. This one is in exceptional condition with no signs of wear.
