Up next we have a vintage Brown leather holster stamped with the United States insignia on it U.S. these holsters date back to the early 1900s but were used all through world war 1 world war II this particular holster is from 1942 Boyt stamped 42. The holster is an over all great shape no rips or tears in the leather or the belt holes no visible crease in the holster as seen in the pics. There is tarnishing and patina around the brass metal snaps all over the holster as seen in the pics however this is very easy to clean the holster is stuffed with the tissue paper that was put in them in the 1960s when it went into a trunk for storage until it was purchased at an estate sale 2 years ago. This holster was for a 1911 it's time somebody put some good use to it again. They don't make them like this anymore that's for sure
