This is a vintage 1830s Hotpoint Serving silver tone tray. “Pat. No. Hotpoint 100Y38 Edison Electric Appliance Co. Inc Chicago Made in U.S.A. Ontario Cal.” This is a nice stainless steel tray or it could be a base for a coffee server from Edison Electric Appliance Co Inc. Chicago Made in USA.
Approximate Dimensions 22.75" W x 11.75" H x 2.0" D
The signature is clear, the outer edges look chrome. I tried the magnet and there was no magnetic response. Think it could be stainless steel.
