“Four young Englishmen acquire a forty-foot prewar (1914) cutter, 'Content', and go to sea for two years, 1948–1950, visiting Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Morocco, the Canaries, British Guiana, various Caribbean islands, and cities along Amerca's eastern seaboard, ending in New York City; stopping for work & repairs along the way. Crealock later became an important yacht designer, counting Walter Cronkite & William Hurt among his clients. Scarce first American edition, preceding the British by a year. Hardcover, full tan cloth, navy titling; in jacket, as pictured.”
