tremendous 1960's Bitossi ceramic pedestal vase likely designed by Aldo Londi, created in a beautiful color combination of soft terracotta and gold......a very unique, striking piece even by Bitossi standards----the base color is the soft terracotta in a lovely semi gloss finish, the gold shows up in the form of the wonderfully textural thumbprint-like applications that cover the upper portion of the piece.....such a great design, and this example is in fantastic condition......signed in black on the underside "Italy 9572M".....looks great on a bookshelf or credenza, a desk, kitchen island.....just about anywhere......this one is a can't miss!
