I tested this and it works. The batteries are not included. That being said, the talking/noises he makes are not very loud. I'm not sure if the volume is normal or not. You can definitely hear it, its just not as loud as the sound it makes when the ears and eyes move.
This is in good pre-owned condition. As you can see the box is included and the box does have some dents in the plastic and other wear. The furby itself though looks really good and the tag is still attached. Please refer to the pictures for more details.
