Vintage 80s Viking Strikk Oseberg Tapestry Wool Sweater.
The Oseberg tapestry (see above image) is a fragmentary tapestry, discovered within the Viking Oseberg ship burial in Norway. The tapestry (dated to about 834AD) was probably a part of the funeral offering in the ship burial. It shows a religious wagon procession and a scene of apparent human sacrifice, in which human bodies hang from a tree.
