This is an incredibly rare antique Calco Tile Co. art pottery advertising piece. It appears to be a ashtray but can be used to place coins or keys. Its is marked Calco Tile on the front of the bowl - see photos. My Grandfather worked at Calco Tile most of his life, and this was one of the pieces I found when my dad passed away. Its in good condition but has two chips in the front (Please see pictures). I have had it for many years and am now ready to part with it. I looked for similar pieces over the years and only have seen two sell in the last 10 years. He is an incredible piece and is so expressive - and has so much character. It really is an amazing piece. It an antique and has some wear but still a unique piece. It measures 5 1/2" long x 4 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide. Thank you and have a great day.
