Extravagant, big and bold, fun and fancy vintage Kenneth Jay Lane designed AVON pastel and gold tone butterfly pin. The brooch has mint, magenta and beige enamels on gold tone metal. Wings have aurora borealis rhinestones. Body and antennae have amber gold rhinestones. The roll over safety clasp works well. Brooch is not marked AVON but was part of the AVON jewelry available in the 1980’s. It is signed KJL in oval cartouche on back. It measures 3-1/4” x 2-1/2”.
Dating to 1980’s, this pin is a collectible and wearable brooch. Stunning! No stones are missing and enamel is in great condition.
