This is the original & authentic movie poster for the 1963 MGM film “Come Fly With Me” starring Dolores Hart, Hugh O'Brian, Karl Malden, Pamela Tiffin & Lois Nettleton.
This is an original, vintage, restored & linenbacked British Quad (30" X 40") poster is in fine to very fine condition with sharp, vivid color & excellent hip midcentury graphic design & artwork. Before restoration, the poster was in fine condition & had general signs of use, creases, small tears & stains in blue background areas & borders. Post-restoration & linen-backing, the poster displays pretty well but you can see evidence of the issues in particular the repaired tears & creases. The main image of the three airline hostesses/stewardesses is very stylish & swinging ‘60s cool. See photos.
The film follows three young international air hostesses looking for romance & excitement, weaving abundant soap opera elements into its tale of opportunity for glamorous travel & adventures.
