Motion piece is missing so only works as a lamp. However, it works well and looks beautiful when lit. The switch to turn on and off works well. The cord is in good shape but when I went to put in the back I noticed on the very bottom some tape had been wrapped around the cord on the very bottom (see last pic). I don't know what that means at all but again, works beautifully.
