Vintage Clarence China Quatrefoil Tea Cup and Saucer
Made in England by Clarence Pottery, which operated from 1911 to 1971.
Features an "Orchard Fruits" design with strawberries, grapes, and other fruits.
The set is made of fine bone china with gilded rims and handle.
The saucer is about 5-3/4 inches in diameter, with a scalloped rim.
The teacup is approximately 3 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches across.
It's a vintage item, possibly part of a harlequin set (mismatched but complementary pieces). It’s numbered with the maker's mark and English Registry mark indicating it was made before the 1950’s.
The pattern is hand-painted.
Slight flaw on the inside of the handle of teacup. No chips to either saucer or cup.
