This is a wonderful book for the gastrophile. The Prices have filled the book with information on gourmet restaurants and the food therein. There are menus from famous eateries all around the world, along with personal anecdotes, and recipes for the best food at each one. There are 71 full-page color photos; most of them are photos of prepared dishes, many are photos of the venues, either the dining rooms or the kitchens, just a few are of the Prices. This edition was printed in 1965. The only wear is on the spine corners. They were never white, but are a restful tan. This is a book to read and use and treasure. Masterpiece theater
