Vintage Erzgebirge German smoker incense burner featuring a chimney sweep in a tall black top hat with long painted beard, pipe, and traditional chimney brush. Hand-carved and painted wood, made in the Erzgebirge region of former East Germany. The smoker separates at the waist to hold cone incense, with smoke exiting from the open mouth. This figure measures approximately 8" tall by 4" wide. It shows signs of gentle use, with light charring inside from past incense burning, but remains in very good vintage condition.
